Daniel Vaughan, the fourth son of John and Gillian acquired
most, if not all of his father's farm. He was born in 1653 as
shown in the old Friends Records. His marriage and births of
some of his children are recorded in the Old Rhode Island
Colony reconds at the Rhode Island State Archives,-part I, page
164, 1646- 1669. Daniel Vaughans marriage record shows he
married Susanah Ginney daughter of Samuel and Ann Ginney of New
Plymouth. (The name may have been Jenney) The old Town (
council records of Newport at the Newport Historical Society
reveal that Daniel executed a will which went to probate in
March 1704 and that he named his wife susannah as the
Executrix. Except for Joseph the records of Daniel's
descendants beyond his children are difficult to uncover. I
have concluded that it was his son Daniel Vaughan who married
an Abigail Moon, but it might be contended that the Danicl
Vanghan whose Will was probated Feb. 13, 1717 at Newport,
leaving an only child Rebecca,; was the son of Daniel and
Susannah Vaughan. If Daniel Vaughan who married Abigail Moon
was the Sonl of Daniel and SusannahPerson Source
