a name for but his second wife was Margaret who was buried 25
Sep 1589 in the Hedcorn Churchyard in Kent.The children I think
come from the first wife who died in 1581. Margaret was a
widow and they were marr 2 May 1584 her widow name was READER.
married (l) Elizabeth CLAGGET and (2) Joan Came to American
aboard the ship Elizabeth Ann in 1635 at age 28 with his 2nd
wife Joan and two children Matthew age 8 and Elizabeth 3.
Probably Matthew is from his first wife Elizabeth but dau

Is this perhaps the John Borden of Portsmouth who in 1638 was a
follower of Anne Hutchinson (a small band of followers who were
bannished from Mass. colony for heresy and settled at
Portsmouth?
