1Elder family Bible, Edition: Ivison & Phinney, Phinney & CO., Buffalo New York, 1856. This bible was passed down to Muriel Oxnerfrom her Grandmother Sarah Harrel Elder. The records of Marriages and Births are located near the center of the book. Some of the records are in pencil and some are in ink. All are in cursive hand. The first leaf of the book is printed in small letters in the center "Alexander Elder". Copies of the records from this bible are on file with writer.
